This 4.5″ square ceramic trinket dish is a representation of an original artifact, a Dutch Delft tile depicting a musketeer. The soldiers at Jamestown likely looked very similar to this individual, as elements of muskets and bandoliers have been recovered by archaeologists at the site.

The design was filled in using digital technology to show what a more complete version of the artifact may have looked like.
