Visitors can watch as glass artisans make green glass wine bottles, similar to those found at Jamestown, and other items at the Glasshouse. These reproduction objects, including vases, pitchers, candleholders, wine glasses and paper weights, are available for purchase in the Gift Shop. The Glasshouse and Glasshouse Gift Shop are operated by Eastern National, a not-for-profit “cooperating association” that supports the National Park Service. For more information about the Glasshouse Gift Shop, please see the National Park Service’s website.
A portion of all Glasshouse Gift Shop sales support the glassblowing demonstrations and the National Park Service at Historic Jamestowne.
8:30am to 5:00pm daily, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and January 1.
The Gift Shop is located at the 1608 Glasshouse, which is shown on the Island Map. The Glasshouse parking area is on the right, approximately 0.1 of a mile after passing through the wooden entrance gates to Jamestown. If departing from the Historic Jamestowne Visitor Center parking lot, follow the directions to leave Jamestown Island. Approximately one mile from the Visitor Center, a sign for the 1608 Glasshouse will indicate where to turn left to access the parking area.
