Description

This sterling silver ring replicates a brass ring found in the southeastern bulwark of James Fort and bears the crest of the Strachey family. William Strachey was secretary of the colony in 1610-11 after being shipwrecked in Bermuda. His account of that adventure likely inspired William Shakespeare’s play “The Tempest.”
