Chevron Bead Earrings

These handmade glass earrings are a reproduction of trading beads found by archaeologists at the James Fort site. Over 40 chevron beads resembling these reproductions have been unearthed at Jamestown and added to the collection of artifacts. Beads of this kind are believed to have been utilized for trading purposes most commonly in the early context of the fort, 1607-1610.
