Description
In the fall of 2009, archaeologists excavated several freshwater pearls and pearl beads from an early James Fort well. The pearls, along with a number of other items from the well, have been attributed to Virginia Indians and provide evidence of their working alongside the colonists within the fort walls.
These bracelets are handmade by Historically Inspired Designs, a jeweler based in Richmond VA, from freshwater pearls. Pearls are naturally irregular in shape and size and have not been dyed.
Measures approximately 7.5″ in length. Features toggle ring closure.
