Location: Program begins at the Pocahontas Statue.
Join Emeritus Director of Archaeology and Research, Dr. William “Bill” Kelso, for an exclusive tour of the James Fort site. Dr. Kelso will reflect on how the exciting discoveries made over the past 25 years have reshaped our understanding of life in the settlement’s early years. The program concludes with a book-signing, so participants may bring copies of his books or purchase his latest from our gift shop, if desired.

Tickets: Adults are $60 each and Youth (15 years of age and under) are $40 each. Program tickets include 7-day Admission to Historic Jamestowne and Yorktown Battlefield. Youths must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are limited, so early booking is encouraged.
Note: A Tour Combo ticket, which includes both this Tales of the Silver Shovel and the May 8 Curator’s Artifact Tour (tour begins at 3:00pm), is available. Combo tickets are $80 per adult and $60 per youth and include 7-day admission to Historic Jamestowne and Yorktown Battlefield.
