Enjoy hands-on activities and ranger-led programs. Complete activities to earn a Colonial National Historical Park Junior Ranger badge.

Make a nautical flag bookmark and learn about oysters with Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail staff

Create clay decorations with the park archaeologist

Learn about sturgeon with James River Association staff
- Build your own navigational quadrant and learn how the spice trade shaped exploration with the Mariners’ Museum staff.
