Meet William Strachey, one of the most quoted eyewitnesses of early Jamestown, as he recounts the shipwreck and survival that changed the course of the 17th century. The wreck of the Sea Venture on Bermuda and Strachey’s account of that adventure was an inspiration to William Shakespeare in writing “The Tempest.” This program is offered at 10:30 am, 1 pm and 3 pm.
