The Jamestown Rediscovery interim field report series describes the results of the archaeological excavations of James Fort over time. The information presented includes what was found during the field season or seasons described as well as the interpretation of those findings. However archaeological theories evolve as new data comes to light as research and excavations continue, so some of the interpretations, especially from the project’s early years may have changed.
